Many people will tell you that something they’ve always wanted to learn how to do is play an instrument. If you have always yearned to play the guitar perhaps it’s time to do something about it. To really learn the guitar there is no substitute for practice. You can learn to read tabs and music, read all the books and watch all the videos you want, go to every guitar class, but unless you are taking time to practice regularly you will never live up to your potential as a guitarist. Eventually, playing the guitar will become second nature and you will no longer need to practice as frequently. By then, you will be playing without instruction and enjoying the rewards of learning an instrument.
